what do we do
The
Foundation is committed to providing assistance to people with brain tumours,
their carers
and their families,
and also to the advancement of the treatment and research of these
conditions. |

The
Foundation has established this online resource centre where patients and families
can source information regarding options for treatment.
Other services
provided by qualified practitioners to help
families cope with the added stresses and traumas resulting from diagnosis
and treatment include:
- Advocacy and intervention assistance
- Respite Care for carers (We have access
to assessment for HACC funding through our associate membership
with the Neurological Council.)
- Support groups for patients and their
families (in collaboration with BTAWA and our Nurse.)
- Family and grief counselling.
- Financial assistance and counselling
where the costs of treatment are prohibitive.
- Vocational and employment- related
counselling and job search assistance.

We fully intend that more families will benefit from these integral and unique services, as the James Crofts Hope Foundation Inc.
influence continues across Australia.
Even though we are based in Perth, Western
Australia, we have been able to help families in NSW, Qld, Victoria, as well
as local country areas. |
